Pepper Steak
Wow !!! Amazing steak I was craving for a proper steak to order online and came across akropolis restaurant - reviews outstanding so thought will give a try and honestly - super satisfied Meat is juicy sauce accomplishes and opens flavours Chips are crispy and fresh Many thanks and looking forward to come to the restaurant ❤️ 10/10
Chicken Athenia
Akropolis is by far my favourite restaurant and this dish is the best. The chicken is always so succulent and the feta and spinach sauce as rich as it sounds. Served with fluffy rice and a side salad, each mouthful is a joy!
Kleftiko
The kleftiko is simply melt-in-your-mouth gorgeousness. It's tender and succulent, and the accompanying roast potatoes are perfection. If you are a fan of lamb, this dish is an absolute must try.
Souvlakia
So tasty, well marinated and a gig portion. Lovely atmosphere and very good customer service

We were at Akropolis Westcliff. There were 5 of us for Mother's Day, really enjoyed it. Gorgeous food, friendly staff. Can't wait to come back!

The chicken souvlakia - so juicy, so tender, so flavourful and so filling! I could go back for more and more until I turn into a chicken souvlakia myself. There's a reason there is not many Greek-Cypriot restaurants in Southend - it's because you can't beat the best that is Akropolis, which is so good it's been around since what feels like the dawn of time. Perfect for any occasion, amazing value for money, friendliest staff and so authentic I close my eyes, eat the food and feel like I'm transported back to my holiday in Crete. Could not recommend this place more!
Kleftiko
We had the Kleftiko Meal, not for the first time i should say and it, as always was amazing, beautifully tender lamb falling off the bone. Having the pitta to statt and fruit and baklava to finish book ends a perfect meal. And as always, service was exceptional, we will certainly be back!
The Akropolis Meze
I moved to Southend over 12 years ago, came across this wonderful restaurant and booked for my birthday. We never miss a family or friend celebration here because the food is so good and the staff are amazing. 12 years is a long time but each visit is just like the first and I will never stop enjoying meals there. May it continue forever and if you haven't tried it yet, then you're missing out on a fabulous evening. Thank you Akropolis for another birthday classic evening, birthdays just wouldn't be the same anywhere else. ♥️
Tiramisu
This is the best tiramisu I have ever tried and I've tried a lot. It is amazing and a perfect end to a wonderful meal.
